Lake Superior Thomsonite

Lake Superior Thomsonite is know for it’s distinctive orbicular/concentric patterns. It is found in a relatively restricted section of Lake Superior’s North Shore, particularly around Grand Marais. Thomsonite is said to encourage calmness and balance emotions. It is sued for feeling connect to the Earth and one’s surroundings. It is associated with relaxation and tranquility. It is regarded as helpful for meditation and seeing one’s own feelings. Lake Superior thomsonite has a particularly strong symbolic association with water, ancient volcanic landscapes, and the North Shore. This pendant measures approximately 18mm x 18mm
