Get to know Lady Gem Jewelry
Over two decades ago, I started creating jewelry, and my passion for it continues to grow. While my style and mediums have changed drastically, my love for creating wearable art has never dwindled. Exploring colors, shapes, and textures still excites me.
In recent years, my biggest inspiration has been nature. I have a deep love for stones and I want to share that with others. I love creating necklaces, both strung pieces and wire-wrapped pieces, and bracelets, both strung and stitched, and earrings.
While I love the fluidity and spontaneity of wire wrapping, I also love stitched work. There is something so rewarding about starting with a needle, thread, and piles of beads and ending up with an intricate piece of jewelry.
Lately, my favorite part of creating jewelry is when I am at craft shows. I love watching people’s eyes light up when they say, “This is exactly what I’ve been looking for” and when customers come into my booth wearing jewelry, I have created looking for additional pieces.
My current wearable art display includes wrapped stone pendants, charm necklaces, stone bracelets, handstitched beaded bracelets, wire wrapped rings and earrings, and a handful of sports and pop-culture inspired necklaces/bracelets/earrings. Additionally, I enjoy creating custom pieces that excite my customers.
