Red Moss Agate is a variety of chalcedony, a microcrystalline form of quartz, characterized by its distinctive moss-like inclusions. These inclusions are primarily iron-rich minerals, such as hematite or iron oxides, which create branching, organic patterns in shades of red, rust, and deep brown.
